I bought this place, along with my business partner, back in 2019. It had sustained some damage from Hurricane Michael. We showed it some love and got her back up and running, renting rooms to many regulars who have been coming here for decades. The previous owners wanted to make sure that whoever took over was going to keep running it as the Monterey for this very reason. I love this place and I love this sweet beach town! This is my home and I’ve raised my kids here. My youngest is just off to college so I’ve been putting my time, energy…and money! on some much-needed upgrades (along with a little kick-start from a certain reality show!) and can’t wait to share them with you all! The rooms have been updated with fresh paint, light fixtures and décor. The pool area has gotten some love with fresh paint and upper deck area with killer sunset views.
